Toni Pepe has organized and coordinated the Think Art Conference which is an interdisciplinary exploration of the fine arts through the humanities and sciences. Through panel discussions and an exhibition of artwork, Think Art will provide a crucial meeting point for scholars and artists and encourages a cross-disciplinary approach to learning and talking about art.
Toni also has a piece in the exhibition which will be on view during the conference.
This year’s topic is the investigation of self through the construction, management, and manipulation of memory. How do the individual—and society—remember?
The conference and exhibition is being sponsored by the Associate Provost & Vice President of Graduate Research and will be held at Boston University in the College of Fine Arts building located at 855 Commonwealth Avenue Boston, MA 02215.
Keynote Speaker: Professor Daniel Schacter, Harvard University
